The incomparable Willie Nelson, an absolute legend playing at the annual Farm Aid concert they he founded 40 years ago! The man is 92 and he didn’t go on until midnight…and played a full hour!

Brought my dad up to my property in northern Minnesota this weekend for Father’s Day and we started clearing a path through the forest to the lake. Not bad for an 84 year old who just had a heart attack a month ago!

Given all that’s going on in the world, getting up the north shore of Lake Superior and the Gunflint Trail over the weekend with Winnie and Willie for a few days has helped my mental state more than anything these past few months. I’m pretty sure I just might disappear into the woods up there soon:)

Just before our country voted for a fascist dictatorship, I was on the most beautiful roadtrip down the pacific coast with my dogs. Maybe I should just sell everything and drive around for the next four years…at least I could just focus on the natural beauty of our country that way?
