The latest addition to my “RPG Supplements that aren’t RPG Supplements” is Extraordinary Islands and incredible book of potential locations, including BRP Sierra Madre, a broken ship on a desolate reef, or Runit, Monster Island the site of a nuclear waste silo … lots of inspiration in here.

He revised his opinion by the 25th anniversary edition, which is reprinted here. He summarises that in the end, it was a net “good” as it had a more positive legacy.
