It wasn’t completely bad, as there were some bright spots. But overall this greenwashing was lipstick on a pig.

Pavilion Park in Irvine had orange bicycles all over its branding, but the street design looked like every other car-first neighborhood with wide roads, missing crosswalks, and an abundance of parking.

Why fly when you can take the train. While not a short journey, the @amtrak.com Coast Starlight is undefeated. I’ll put the stretch between San Luis Obispo and Oxnard against any other in the world. Today had a sideways sunset.

I’m working at UC Berkeley today so I had to swing by to see how the new protected bike lanes are working out. This is Dana St. at Durant Ave.

They have some good examples of this in Livermore. I noticed this a few weeks ago when exploring the Arroyo and Iron Horse trails.

Today we celebrated the new section of SMART path in San Rafael. SMART caught Lucas and I in the second picture. Unfortunately we were late and missed the group ride with @marinbike.org. The new path makes about 7 miles of trail from the Larkspur station & ferry terminal.
