A lot of these are based on print ads I remember seeing or on the common cliches. For the most part they're worldbuilding topics relevant to the types of stories told in the setting, but the ones I like most are the 'lifestyle ads'

My guiding principle was a mixture of the MGS4 opening TV sequence and the longwinded full page ads I'd see in the 70s, 80s era magazines I'd find lying around my dad's place, with the limitation of forum formatting and the fact I can't draw lol

When filling out the background of Phantasm Arm a thing I really enjoy is making up fake ads. The loose theme of the thread is 'reading through a magazine you might find in the setting.' This was the first introduction for most people:

Took me a lot longer to get to this film than I had intended, but it did not disappoint. Revue Starlight was striking on television, on the big screen it was something else.

Also while I enjoyed the first season the greater focus on the wider class really elevates the experience, this is such a good cast of supporting characters
