I do not think he should be mayor, but this is so much healthier of an approach to take toward a democratic election than anything we are hearing from Andrew Cuomo. Cuomo is going to leave NYC the moment he loses. Sliwa seems to truly want to stay in this great city.

Tried to carbonate red wine in the soda stream for a cocktail. Ex had just finished painting the kitchen white. It looked like a crime scene. Got caught 3 months later when he bumped a painting on the wall askew that I didn’t think to clean behind. He guessed immediately what I had done.
What’s the stupidest thing you’ve ever done? I don’t mean “cheating on your partner” stupid, I mean stupid stupid. Like, once, I had this bubble bath which smelled absolutely delicious, so I took a big glug of it. That kind of stupid. (It did not taste delicious.)

Please don’t do this. It should be a crime to draw a regression line on a chart with 5 datapoints. Prison forever for interpreting the residuals.

Appeasing and conceding points to openly authoritarian Republicans to find the “Big Middle” legitimized fascism and is a big part of how we got here. I cannot say this enough, for the love of all that is good, someone please primary Marcy Kaptur.
Internet insults won’t reopen government. Speaker Johnson needs to do his job, call us back, and work in good faith to find the 'Big Middle.' The only way to reopen government is through bipartisan compromise—otherwise premium increases and hospital closures will put more stress on working families.
