One neat thing in Hades II is when you pick the super-heavy weapon with a slow swing speed but high damage, and then you use the aspect that reduces the swing speed, and pick up a Boon that further reduces the swing speed, you're only left with high damage

It’s not “wow you can count the freckles on Peter’s face” or “you can see Ratchet’s fur moving in the wind” it’s “wow look at how they use lighting and color and draw distance”. I don’t think anyone would’ve cared if SM2 played exactly as it did but LOOKED more like Shattered Dimensions

Like I said with Insomniac, Rift Apart and SM2 look amazing, but that’s because they utilize the SSD to improve render distance and put more particles/objects on the screen. It’s visually impressive and also serves a purpose to show the player the wide open areas they can explore

Its been 17 years, but with its soft cel-shading, vibrant color palette, and super-effective use of fixed camera angles, I still think Tales of Vesperia is one of the best looking games of all time
