Matt (Matty Bonez) Douglas played his first shows with the Mountain Goats in 2015, officially joining the band full-time in 2016. What is The Bone Zone, you ask? I may have made up the name but it is a very real and magical place where you can find me at any given show.

the energy in the room was electric. postponed tour after postponed tour, it was like we all couldn't believe it was finally happening. we were all just so grateful to have made it, to be there in that room, to be alive.

i wouldn't say that listening to I'VE GOT THE SAX (AND THE GUITAR, AND THE KEYS, AND THE-): A NIGHT IN THE BONE ZONE - VOL 1 is prerequisite listening before getting into the upcoming VOL 2 but, it certainly helps
