They've done their votes, wrapping things up, and the association needs extra hands putting chairs away, so we'll put our laptop down and hoist some folding plastic 💪🏼

Someone asks what she's most proud of.

A: Free @sfmta.bsky.social for kids.

That was the final Q. Now is time for Sunnyside Neighborhood Association business. Michael Kelly is stumping for memberships and fees.

Q: What is SF's greatest unsolved challenge?

@myrnamelgard7.bsky.social: affordable housing. The city's housing department is "dinky" and only does lending, no policy. We need a stable source of funding.

Special elections are expensive and destabilizing, and SF's threshold to get one on the ballot is much lower than other municipalities/counties, says @myrnamelgard7.bsky.social. About that threat to Melgar: She says "my conscience is clear" www.sfchronicle.com/bayarea/arti...

Q: What will you do to stop the "whiplash" of recalls? (This was supposed to be for the mayor.)

@myrnamelgard7.bsky.social, who might be threatened w/a recall for her role passing the upzoning plan, says some supes want a city charter reform to make it harder.
November 11, 2025 at 3:36 AM
Side note, now that Lurie has left: There was a lot less flak at this meeting than at recent D4 and D2 town halls that were specifically about the housing/upzoning plan.
November 11, 2025 at 3:36 AM
Next Q: CCSF campus needs a makeover. What can we do?

Melgar: A CCSF bond passed 4 yrs ago and is starting to have an effect.
