Had to use the snowblower this morning and got a quick reminder that the placement of this knob is a TERRIBLE design choice for something that is self-propelled but can also stop suddenly with no warning to the person walking behind it.

First speed work in my first speed shoes ✅
Saucony Endorphin Speed 4. I was on the treadmill so I don’t know if they made me any faster, but it certainly felt a LOT easier to hold a pace faster than my 5K PR for 800x3.

I wear them for safety and music, but actually use them more for taking pictures/videos of interesting things I see on my runs. It’s pretty good quality, and the battery will last 2-2.5 hours which gets me through a half marathon. The only real downside is you can’t focus the lens, just wide angle.

I love it. My therapist had me write a daily reminder to myself that pops up every morning that says “what if everything goes right?” The future hasn’t happened yet so why are we afraid of it?

Had tickets to see Moulin Rogue tonight but this was the freeway when we hit the city so… we turned around 😬 roads were perfectly fine around home 🤷♂️

That is a very odd claim for a Wikipedia article to make. Especially considering Petra is in Jordan, which is also an Arab nation.

Well I just had my first interaction that quickly turned into my comment being quoted and used to ridicule me outside of the context of the conversation so I guess all social media really is the same.
