Speaking as someone who has been suffering some kind of post viral fatigue for years (possibly covid, possibly glandular fever? I've had it all, lucky me!!), it's too late for me and I am barely coping with the moderate adjustment. Just get the booster.

I wish I could just ignore it but I'll need to request a lease extension in 2 years at which point the fact that it already has laminate is going to undo me. Also fuck carpet, I'm willing to pay for expensive acoustic underlay but apparently they will never agree to flooring that isn't carpet??

Is this manifesting? After 5.75 months of stress it seems like maybe this tiny rundown flat mortgaged at an interest rate I can't really afford is going to be mine by next Friday? If so, I must say constantly asking for a Christmas miracle is basically writing a letter to Santa and Santa is real

Said this once at the old place: my late dad did admissions at Cambridge for a while, & if any candidate mispronounced a difficult word he made a mark in their favour – because that meant they’d read it in a book by themselves, rather than being spoon-fed. We should celebrate our mispronunciations!
I have far too many friends who are autodidactic and I have seen far too many groups of humans use language as a method of excluding other humans for me to ever support making fun of someone who mispronounces something they’ve never heard said out loud.

Thought I was going to do something with this day off but instead I have simply indulged my depression laying in bed for 5 hours straight. I did do some drawing for a gift though. That was nice I guess.

Last weekend I swapped out "if you don't stop [X] I'm gonna punch you in the face" with "if you don't stop [X] I will slit your throat" and I think I'll keep it. It's really alarmingly dark, but because of that it's less threatening because, obviously, I would never. Yeah. It works.
