The theatrical experience has been on the decline for the last decade or more. It’s expensive, and while the at-home costs are also on the rise, we shouldn’t be surprised to see market capitalists facilitating the further decline of something that used to be affordable and accessible.

Haven't been to the cinema nearly as much as I had hoped in these final few months of the year. Last thing I saw in theaters was OBAA. If WAKE UP DEAD MAN gets a release in town, I'll definitely go to that. After that, it's just KILL BILL WBA, FIRE AND ASH, and hopefully MARTY SUPREME.

Haven't been to the cinema nearly as much as I had hoped in these final few months of the year. Last thing I saw in theaters was OBAA. If WAKE UP DEAD MAN gets a release in town, I'll definitely go to that. After that, it's just KILL BILL WBA, FIRE AND ASH, and hopefully MARTY SUPREME.
We're about halfway through FRANKENSTEIN ('25), and while I'm mostly enjoying it, that opening action setpiece looked like Stranger Things. I know Guillermo is better than this.

Yesterday was nuts. Basically raced through my usual route to get back to BR in time to see the last IMAX showing of OBAA before TRON swept everything up. I got to the theater minutes before the trailers ended (still had time to grab popcorn, drink, and snacks bc I didn't eat dinner).

The drive to Monroe is getting easier, but the lack of easily-accessible food options is killing me. I made bad food choices today, and I need to do some proper investigation to find stuff that won’t made me feel like death after eating it.
