my question is this. If you’re deaf and have to face Stormbringer in combat, do you still perceive the sex noises or otherwise understand that it is experiencing sexual satisfaction? Or do you get to skip knowing that while everyone around you looks really uncomfortable?

the thing you have to understand here is that the cool evil sword makes sex noises during combat and everyone can hear it
Look at this. Michael Whelan drew this guy exactly like a Conan girl BECAUSE HES THE CONAN ARTIST and gave no explanation of WHY he did this to the gritty doomed antihero dragon prince with an evil sword. Yes Elric does look like a dying French whore in 75% of the art

because Elric technically exists in a multiverse, I can put him in the jianghu for certain. I probably won’t but he’d have such a bad time, in so many new ways. Stormbringer can’t even fly, his welsh(?) ass would have to walk everywhere

However if they did the show but made Elric a woman and changed nothing else, that would go hard as hell. Michael Whelan already spent like 20 years drawing him exactly like a Conan girl so there’s plenty of visual reference.
