Like, they're both top-down explosions, the only difference being one experiencing vibration mid-flight and one static on the pad. It's like watching someone step into a field of rakes but ignores path that's already been carved through them. Here's one of my favorite tables from NASA-STD-5017:

I literally made some posts about them clearly not doing their due diligence about this three months ago when the release about their explosion in January came out. Just put this thing on a shaker and run it! Pump it full of helium and spray it with soap water! Get some better O-rings! SOMETHING
Random vibration and sine sweep analyses and tests are industry standard to eliminate this exact failure mode. Why am I not surprised by this?

Remember folks, launchpad testing doe not replace qualification testing, in the exact same way that "rapid disassembly" is an explosion that some PR person tried to spin into a positive.

Take your worst possible case, multiply it by your safety factor, throw it into a computer model and figure out your problem spots. Correlate with actual, physical vibration testing to verify your original analysis, and THEN install it if everything looks clear. Nothing less should be acceptable
