Aspiring author, financial advisor, singer, challah baker, Shabbat keeper, avid reader, liberal, feminist, Little Free Library Steward. Doodles owner and daily walker. No DMs, please. My time is too precious to argue with the unlettered or ill-informed.
Every once in a while, a sequel comes along that is just as engaging as the original. @misterosman has crafted a warm, funny, exciting, twisty mystery with the most adorable characters. I couldn't put it down, and was sad for it to end.

Reminder: Rs control both House and Senate. So whose fault is the shutdown? The Party in power and their do-nothing know-less Felon-in-Chief.

One of the best #historicalfiction I have read in a while. Beautifully crafted by @shanaabe, the characters exude warmth and humanity.
If you are a fan of "The Guilded Age," or the Huntington Library, this book is for you.
Thanks to @BTC_Books for the Goodreads giveaway.

Today is my Mom's yartzheit. In her memory, I baked our favorite summer dessert from her repertoire: Blueberry Cake.
May her memory be a blessing.

One of the best books I have read this year: sharp, unusual characters, compelling plotting, and unexpected humor. The women's empowerment leaps off the page. @kirstenmillerbooks is fab!

Let me preface my remarks by saying I typically avoid books about writing. I find them usually boring, repetitive, too personal to the author, and thereby irrelevant to me as a writer.

Lamott's helpful, hilarious, and worth your time.

Happy writing!

I enjoyed this domestic time travel thriller by Gillian McAllister. Well constructed, unusual premise, compelling main character and satisfying execution combine in this quick read.
