History tells us visitors will likely find shuttered doors at major cultural institutions. But they will also find plenty of alternatives.

Honored to have been part of this team that analyzed PrEP adherence and area deprivation index led by lead author Jeffrey www.ajmc.com/view/prep-ad...

The State Department didn’t reveal the rationale for having these visas rescinded.

1. Incredible ruling! An Ohio appeals court has ruled that trans care is healthcare, strikes down youth trans care ban!

It made the ruling using the Republican-passed "health care freedom amendment" meant to overturn Obamacare!

INCREDIBLE Ruling!

Judge Reyes just ruled that transgender people have served honorably in the military, judges Trumps trans military ban - which states trans people are inherently dishonorable - as unconstitutional and motivated by animus.

Trans military members may continue to serve.

1. Major news in transgender care.

Germany, Switzerland, and Austria have just released their trans youth care guidelines.

They strongly recommend trans youth care and slam the
Cass Review in England.

Europe is not "pulling back" on trans care.

The recommendations, released by the Association of the Scientific Medical Societies in Germany, come at a time when US politicians erroneously claim that Europe is "pulling back" on transgender care.

Also important to note that the estimates that place trans people at 1.3 million are rather old, from the Williams Institute, which did good work at the time mind you.

Latest Gallup poll shows 1.3% of people now identify as trans, which would be over 4 million people!
Still thinking about this quote from a writer at NYT who said she "can't quite say [Trump's attacks on trans people are] exactly consequential, since so few lives are materially affected."

There are an estimated 1.3 million trans adults in the U.S.

That's equal to the population of Dallas, TX.

Either transgender Americans are important enough to warrant year after year of breathless coverage questioning their healthcare and existence, or they're so insignificant that destroying their rights is the "least consequential" action of a presidency. www.readtpa.com/p/not-exactl...
"Not Exactly Consequential": NYT Dismisses Trump's War on Trans Americans
After years of trans panic coverage, the paper now claims attacks on trans rights barely matter.

We are experiencing an assault on science unparalleled by anything I’ve seen in my life. It’s not one issue or another anymore, the entire institution is under attack by the most powerful individuals in the country.

This Friday, where will you be?
