Oh and one of the women in the @wired article ( who is also chronicling the racism in DC and attacks on Black politicians... surprise no one spoke to her)

She mentions specifically anti genocide creators being mischaracterized sooooo yeah this is ugly

This white lady said, "Payment for me, but not for thee," and @wired is so wrong for just flat out lying about myself and others.

"We use coding agents like junior developers".

Cool. So you get the dual benefits of it being slower than an experienced developer to get a half-decent result *and* it never learns.

Bargain!

reminds me of how STRIKING and full of heart and MOVING the bar mitzvah was in Agatha, for William’s episode—and how I immediately clocked, THEN, “hmmmm…this doesn’t HAVE to be, but it MIGHT give a lil z-“

was a fancy way of saying

"Talk to people , listen valuing them as people and use the resources extract from them to allow them to prosper with real recognition of what brought us to this point"

and we DID NOT DO IT

The question isn't why Dem/ liberal/ progressive comms fail

That's actually really easy

Dem- corporate malfeasance and collusion
liberal- empty racism
progressive- virulent racism masked in radical reading lists with AGGRESSIVE amnesiac misogyny

the question is whose doing good ANYWAY

I like having a general moral compass of

" The minute I keep portraying everything as a conspiracy or stupidity"

I am agreeing with your average fascist and should reconsider.

But I also don't think being the smartest person in the room is a goal, because all that tells me is the room sucks

Remember, Tolkien didn't start working on "The Hobbit" until he was 41 years old. It started as tales for his children that took over 4 years to complete, and he finally published it at the age of 45.

It is never too late to start working on something that truly calls to you.

The difference between Zuckerberg and Apple, of course, is that Apple has a solid record of creating products that people will actually pay for. Zuckerberg has yet to produce anything that a critical number of consumers give enough of a damn about to buy.
“‘Personal devices like glasses that understand our context because they can see what we see, hear what we hear, and interact with us throughout the day will become our primary computing devices,’ he wrote Wednesday in an online post detailing how Meta will bring AI to users.”

No, they won’t.
