Between that and the way the villains are portrayed (as victims who slipped through the cracks of commercial popularity society) it kinda seems like the resolution is saying “hope that society empowers you to change it for the better” or “wait for it to improve”

the core theme of the show that gets repeated ad infinitum is “anyone can be a hero!” But the story ends with him losing his busted ability and quitting his dream for like 8 years until kacchan’s paycheck hits mei’s account, which feels uncharacteristic and weird
