A lot of this was like reading my diary, when you got to the part about running two cars into the ground. I did this last month. That was a low point.

What do Netflix, Starbucks, and dating apps have in common?

They all remind us that too many options can ruin a good thing.

In my latest post, I explore the Paradox of Choice, opportunity cost, and why Rory Sutherland’s retirement idea might be the answer we didn’t know we needed.

Why do you write? If you've never asked yourself the question before, it can be quite challenging to answer.

Here's why I write:

This might be morbid. Good.

If you met an all knowing oracle who could accurately answer just 1 question you have about the universe, what would that question be?

Mine would be:

"What is the true nature of existence, including the origins, boundaries, & ultimate structure of the universe?" & hope the answer isn't 42!

What's one thing you did this year that you never expected to do?

For me, it was starting to write and then finally deciding to publish what I wrote in a place that other people would read it (Substack)

Sharing not only what I find interesting but also my vulnerabilities and frustrations.

A tough day taught me to lean on loved ones, pause, and reframe.
Small kindnesses and staying calm made a challenging situation manageable.
Progress isn’t always perfect, but every small step, no matter how insignificant it seems, can lead to something better.

What if reluctance isn't the enemy, but the friend you need to make a breakthrough?

I leant into mine and discovered something I thought I hated, I actually really enjoyed.

I resonated with this post. Hard.

George's writing is hard to read, because it makes you feel. It's uncomfortable because you worry if he's ok. I hope he is.

I'll continue reading because it's powerful and raw and I think we all need that in our lives.

Congratulations @adhdjesse.com on your milestone.
Anyone who thinks they may be ADHD or has someone in their life who does this is a fantastic read.
I bought it to better understand my daughter and ended up learning a lot about myself. I have my ADHD assessment appointment next month
Thanks Jesse!
I can hardly believe it... Extra Focus has hit 20,000 copies sold! 🎉

As a first-time, self-published author, I never imagined this would happen. But more incredible than the number? The stories of how this book is changing lives.

Life's not a game.

No cheat codes, no save points, no extra lives.
But you can level up. Every habit, skill, and challenge adds XP.

Power-ups?
Eating well, moving, sleeping.
Simple, game-changing stuff.

The goal?

See how far you grow and creatively play your hand.

What’s your next move?
