I also clipped this part too because it feels like the red hair MAGA one in no selling marinas offense then kind of sandbagging the arm drag spin thing.

I thought it was just bad initially but in context it makes me wonder.

Candidly this is borderline sandbagging in my opinion.

Fact Check: False

Zohran Mamdani went to AEW Grand Slam 2021 and saw Kenny Omega vs Bryan Danielson and he left the show knowing in his heart that anything is possible.

Please join me in the unofficial DSA National Wrestling Committee (NWC).

Watched LIMBO (1999) directed by Tina Krause. Released by @bleedingskull.bsky.social on bluray. Shot on video experimental madness.

This one is desperate to push beyond the limits of its resources. Kind of a weird experimental art hell house. People sure do make crazy fascinating stuff.

A classic The Onion blurb on Dick Cheney.

Checking in on Facebook. My conservative Facebook friends are sharing AI slop propaganda with fake senator names. We may be doomed.

We going to do this again with Iowa/Texas/Alaska/Ohio?

Genuinely iconic that the WWE wrestlemania ad looks like a middle aged boy's trip reunion of old friends where the only guys who were available to attend are recently divorced. They're like in Vegas to party, but also they are all taking metamucil and at least one of them is going to pay for sex. 🤼‍♂️

You look a lot like Anton Vorhees. @link2futureftf.bsky.social

Picture with mad cake for reference.

What fooled them. 💀

Must read for those in Sacramento. Our house representative is so out of touch it is embarrassing.

Imagine being a billionaire and family dynasty politician and thinking you don't have privilege. Outrageous.

She 81 and still running, by the way.

I want to protect local newspapers with my life. The opinion pages sometimes bringing the hottest of takes.

Also the band whose mosh pit they are talking about is now borderline dad rock age band The Hives. If this moshpit looked restrained it's probably because the youngest person in it was 35.

Some real ass graps, only true tekkers will appreciate this. 🤼‍♂️

Imagine charging $40 for a bluray special edition of a movie that uses shitty AI post processing to make the character's hands melt snd ruins the color.

You should never buy a Rustblade release so that hopefully they close up and sell the rights of these movies to someone who will not ruin them.
October 19, 2025 at 1:45 AM
If you were excited about this release, I regret to inform you it is an atrocious AI upscale with blob-y roses and melting hands. Just awful stuff for a release that doesn't need it. Who needs upscaling from film to bluray?

I for one will never buy a Rustblade product.

The audience isn't people in federal authority. Who cares if they like the image? The goal isn't to change their hearts. That's just ultraliberalism.

The goal is to build mass politics to counter ruling class power and we should evaluate the composition around if it's useful for that.

They have people working for free and throw them away when they are injured.

Meanwhile...

The 70s were a good time for environmental horror. PROPHECY (1979) is a movie criticizing the dispossession and degradation of indigenous under capitalism.

It is also a movie about a mutant killer bear.

10. Franchises.

How about the underrated PUMPKINHEAD series whose sequel ran on TV a lot when I was a kid and scared the piss out of me.

The original revenge demon.

The first two are great. Next couple have some juice as well for direct fo sci fi sequels, but not much juice.

Fulci throws the entire kitchen sink at you in THE BEYOND (1981). And it has 80s synths. What's not to like (other than the characterization and story structure)?

If you like Fulci style 1980s silly gore at all then this is a must watch.

My ★★★½ review of The Beyond on Letterboxd boxd.it/bjPSQB

EVIL LAUGH (1986). A fun low budget slasher. The most memorable character is the self aware horror fan with fangoria who keeps warning everyone and trying to leave. Possibly influenced SCREAM (1996)?

Microwave kill was funny. Soft 3 stars.

8. Monsters!

I'll go with an awesome low budget creature feature. Made with only a $25k budget THE DEADLY SPAWN (1983) still manages to have one of the most memorable monsters of all time.

Huge shoutout to @synapsefilms.bsky.social for their gorgeous restoration of this film.
