In the book, the Finnish gods are disappearing and no one knows why. When Aina is taken by a ghastly spectre, Siiri must journey to find her, but to do that, she must first find a legendary lost shaman. Meanwhile, things aren't as they seem in the underworld and Aina must do what she can to survive.
