How did JSP play at RB today?

Obviously hasn’t played much there

Look awkward, or potential option for us if AJ’s out longer-term?

Johnstone having surgery on Tuesday. Out for foreseeable

Decision to bring him back so early seems absolute madness now. Utter stupidity

Rodgers has form for risking injured players unnecessarily

Injured August 10th - surprised if we see him pre-2026 now

What were the medical team thinking?!

It’s overly simplistic I know

But it cannot be complete coincidence that last season we rotated the squad more than we have in years, and hardly had any serious muscle injuries all season

This season, we’ve been forced to rotate much less and hey - guess what?

Hamstring pulls all over the place

Easy win. Ooft, Killie are rank rotten

Important win for us though. Would have been so easy to make hard-work of today and have the mood suffer again after Thursday

So fair play. 8 goals in 2 league games under MON

KT is my blind spot

Find it so hard to criticise him. Love the guy to bits

You know things are really bad at Celtic when the social media team resort to just posting random Henrik Larsson goals

Banning the Green Brigade for a few games should help settle things down a bit

Posted this a few times:

All I want from Celtic in Europe is to regularly beat teams with poorer resources than we have

Not giant-killings, not semis or finals

Just to beat teams who should, all things being equal, be weaker than we are

That’s a low bar - yet we’re made to believe it’s entitled

Celtic is “owned” by an outdated dictator who doesn’t believe that the club requires modernisation

Who measures it’s success only by the repeated, ritual annihilations of vastly inferiorly resourced opponents

And finishing ahead of, arguably, the biggest basket-case club in world football

As dire a 90 as I can remember

We are woefully under-prepared to compete in multiple competitions

For a club of our size to have a squad like this is frankly disgraceful

No Rodgers to blame now. This is - always was - the board’s to own

This is a proper, proper old-fashioned hiding

Mortifying

This club has not been given the required tools for a campaign in Europe.

Sold down the river by a self serving board that are well and truly out of their depth.

They talk about “the model” but this is a club that lacks any sort of identity or structure.

Defence have been really poor

But honestly, Maldini and Nesta would struggle to keep this absolute onslaught at bay tonight. Been left so insanely exposed

We have zero control in the midfield. It is just wave after wave after wave

No desire to keep possession, to stem the bleeding. Crazy
November 6, 2025 at 6:42 PM
Wow. This is as bad as I’ve seen for a very, very long time

Atrocious all over the park

Being hammered by a team operating on half our wage budget and who play in front of a crowd 20% the size of ours

Not had a sniff
November 6, 2025 at 6:28 PM
Jesus. That’s abysmal
November 6, 2025 at 6:22 PM
Been coming. Cannot string two passes together. No control at all
November 6, 2025 at 6:20 PM
The changes we’ve made under MON make us more dangerous, but we do sacrifice a lot of possession control for the privilege

Don’t notice it too much domestically, but you do notice it in these games
November 6, 2025 at 6:11 PM
Can’t be giving away free kicks like that against this mob. Silly
November 6, 2025 at 5:58 PM
Bit of an odd feel in the build-up to the game tonight

Feels like there’s not as much riding on this game as the previous ones?

Tough opponent and venue, but a decent result keeps us well in the mix for knock-out football in ‘26

Not totally ready to write-off Europe just yet

An absolute stick-on penalty

Totally missed it at the time. Been zero discussion about it in the aftermath

Fine. Ref missed it. VAR missed it. These things happen

Doesn’t always require a statement 👍

Are they still greeting?

The truth is, if you’re historically used to having most decisions go your way, any move towards neutrality is going to feel like persecution

The ref had a poor game. So? It happens, and has happened, for decades

The only difference is that now it’s affecting them equally

Great to see Callum Osmand in the squad for tomorrow, but that’s a real kick in the teeth for JSP

Obviously just nowhere near the first team

Such a weird one. Had high hopes for him when he came, very highly rated by all accounts

Bizarre

That handball in the Sunderland Everton game right now is 100% given in Scotland
November 3, 2025 at 9:33 PM
I’m not sure about MON getting the job long-term, but:

There’s not been a single managerial candidate I’ve seen that’s really excited me yet

If the right guy isn’t available right now?

I’d rather MON stayed in charge until he is - even if that means waiting till the summer
