Finally managed to get IPv6 egress re-implemented using the go nftables pkg (uses syscalls) in kube-vip. 🐙

Getting very close (github.com/kube-vip/kub...) Kube-vip.io can now egress pods through a service IP providing stable addresses, without the need for a bunch of external tools in the pod 🥹

Excited for the rebound.cc gravel ride in a few weeks time, going to ride up to the Emley moor mast which is the tallest tower in the UK. (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emley_M...) 🚵🏼♂️

With @kubernetes.io v1.33 I can easily apply a ephemeral container that intercepts traffic (with eBPF 🐝) and transparently encrypts it between pods. Doesn't show up as a container, so does that mean it isn't a sidecar 🤔
