What I’m left rooting for is the FAFO penalty on all the assholes who either wanted him to win or didn’t care if he did is more painful than what happens to the rest of us who tried to tell y’all.
I mean that rant he’s filmed making in high school about being sick & tired of being told to pick up his trash while there are plenty of janitors on site should have resulted in a mental health intervention right there.
I think that somewhere along the way something in Stephen Miller got fundamentally damaged. This is neither an excuse nor a mitigating factor; the dude is genuinely fucking evil and he and everything he stands for should be fought against and stopped. But he is something beyond mere sociopathy.
Since Stephen Miller is in the midst of another of his Aryans-only trantrums, we should note that his family are 20th century immigrants from the shtetl of Antopol (Антопаль) then in the Hrodna gubernia of Russia. Applying his immigration rules, they would all have perished in the Holocaust.

And then they got scolded out of it by the same Third Way focus group-addicted advisers who are now claiming that the election was lost because the Dems allowed the GOP to brand them as “weird.”

Call me a contrarian, but I’ve never seen the point of, let alone been interested in watching, the Macys parade.

I’ll take David Corenswet as the new Superman; he’s got a certain jenesequa the role badly needed. But I’m just not buying Liam Hemsworth replacing Henry Cavill as the Witcher. Seems a little light for the role

Hubris is the Achilles heel of all all prosecutors; why I was always nervous that we were relying on them to hold Trump to account. You can even throw Jack Smith in the bucket for thinking he could roll the dice on the documents case by bringing it in Florida, where Aileen Cannon was lurking.
D.A. Fani Willis had the courage, the grit, the experience, the facts, and the law to bring Trump to account.
It is so disappointing that an error in her judgment gave Trump’s team the opening they needed to have her removed from the case.

I’m not quite at the point where I treat people who still use xitter the same as those who still support Trump, but I’m getting there
But: who is using X has changed dramatically. E.g. it has shifted systematically away from Democrats & women, and towards Republicans & men. (From www.chip50.org/social-media...)

They lied about it. All of it. A thug cop shot an unarmed woman five times without justification, boasted about it to his colleagues, and then this administration tried cover it all up by arresting her and charging her with felonies.
Absolutely incredible; after shooting Marimar Martinez 5 times and arresting her on claims that she rammed them and pulled a gun, prosecutors have now moved to dismiss ALL criminal charges against her and her codefendant.
New: the govt has moved to dismiss its assault case against Marimar Martinez and Anthony Ian Santos Ruiz, two people accused of "box[ing] in" a Border Patrol vehicle in Chicago on Oct. 4.

One agent shot Martinez, with evidence presented to the court that he later bragged about in text messages.
