looks like your issues would be RAM and heat. if you can take off your laptop and see the ram sticks, it could be easy to upgrade from 8-16. for heat, always have it on a hard surface and pray. but it should run it. have you tried the benchmark on steam?

well then yeah, that blows. im guessing theyll have performance fixes right after launch, cause theyll probably get more data to see whats all going wrong

might be the CPU bottlenecking if its an older one. and if most people play 1080 it might help, but that still sounds shitty that a card like that cant push 1440. it could be the vram as well, but I dont know a ton about that

how much vram do you have? and what settings? ive got 16gb vram, and 1080p lets me max out every setting. but yeah that does suck

depends what you play it on. Benchmark had me 1080p ultra and like 100 fps, and ive got a 4060. and ps5 you can prob guarantee itll be playable eventually, pc isnt as standardized so it might not improve as much
