So good.

If they deliver what is on the plans, it will be an incredible place to watch football.

So I'm praying this is the painful bit, done to address years of Glazernomics, and once out of the threat of psr and the losses stop, we can move forward as the financial powerhouse we should be given our fanbase and commercial pull.

As much as I hate the mass redundancies, and the sight of players earning 350k to sit on the bench whilst 40k per annum workers lose livelihoods, I don't see how else people expected SJR to fix it.
I want utd to be run well, not badly but propped up by dodgy billionaire after dodgy billionaire.

Yeah i don't disagree. Too many players cost elite money and being paid elite wages, delivering sub par quality
March 8, 2025 at 11:43 AM
The "many are mid table" bit, im torn on. Some of these have finished in the top 5/6, some have been brought in specifically to arrest our slide.

Are they bad players playing to their level or good players playing badly in a system they don't understand or suit?

I think fixing this take years

I don't disagree in honesty, it's just frustrating how poor this is

Did he have injury issues before he came to villa??
February 9, 2025 at 5:02 PM
Yeah, I do, and I hope he is actually backed and gets to root out the toxic elements and poor performances. I'm just equally not convinced that Ineos are patient or capable/competent.

Im not advocating we change, and i remember the SAF days too. But, just because it worked for SaaF doesn't mean it will work for everyone.

Anyway, you asked what I expected, I expected better and to not look significantly worse.
February 8, 2025 at 10:55 AM
I expected better tbh mate. Better creativity, more goals, less mistakes and a better grasp of what his bets side should be.

Didn't expect the world, but didn't expect to look worse than at any point in the last 10 years either.

That and the fact you've been telling me he's a big bag of shit for 2 years.... lol

Some of the rhetoric being spouted is hard to believe. It's very hard from the outside to understand how America has gone from portraying itself as the land of liberty and freedom to this xenophobic fascist monstrosity.
February 1, 2025 at 3:51 PM
Such a good question 👏👏👏
February 1, 2025 at 3:11 PM
Yeah, he's going to get you a good amount of goals before he gets you a great transfer fee too in a few years.

When did Sunderland become a serious club again, seem to have got their house in order after being a banter club for a few years.

Is "his best" though, as an impact sub against tired legs? I like him, but I can't disagree with the logic of selling him if the price is right
January 31, 2025 at 12:57 PM
I think that's just a legacy of the players we have, and the way we've played for years now. All they know is counter attack and fast paced, high risk play. He wants possession.
If it works, it'll take time and players. If, it works.
January 26, 2025 at 2:25 PM
If we are, we aren't playing the way Amorim intends us to play.
January 26, 2025 at 2:18 PM
