Caught this little man (Eastern Snake-neck Turtle) crossing a big open hill towards a creek. Decided to help him get there faster, with some photos as ‘transport tax’.
I was thoroughly musked for the effort but seeing him scoot off into the water was worth it👌

A teeny tiny baby Smooth Toadfish in a mussel shell, which was pretty much the only way I could successfully photograph them due to S M O L.

Met these smooth lovebirds just now, creeping into the neighbours yard, which has a free roaming cat.
Instead, I scooped them up (with minimal protest) and placed them in the yard on my opposite, where there’s lots of overgrown foliage filled with snails.
They’re off to multiply❤️ #lizard #wildlife
