Grass is one of the most terrifying books I have ever read. I love Sherry Tepper's writing.

I have donated over five gallons. They call me the jumper because I always jump when the needle goes on. "Look, the jumper's here!" I hate needles. I did it to show my thanks to the hospital for saving my then partner's life. Now I just understand the need.

I'm not sure what happened with that picture but that doesn't really show his eyes. This one should.
