In the Japanese version of Symphony of the Night, some of the health power-ups are alcoholic beverages like beer and wine. In the US, those were localized to Barley Tea and Grape Juice. Gotta protect them kids from the scourge of drinking!

@redlettermedia.com I’m reading Maria Bamford’s book & she happens to mention that her aunt was in Lazaris’ cult! From the sound of things, her experience with him got really weird & dark, but I won’t post that part. Needless to say, Lazaris… maybe not such a great guy.. or entity.
