We’ve now got higher taxation of wealth & unearned income, a larger public-spend share of GDP, explicit state-led investment plans, scrapping of the two-child cap, & move away from austerity-style cuts. Whatever you think of Labour politically, those shifts are to the left of Hunt’s 2024–25 position

The Reeves budget is objectively to the left of the last Tory one. Higher tax take on wealth and unearned income, larger public-spend commitments relative to GDP, and a shift back toward state-led investment aren’t positions the previous Chancellor was taking.

Entitled “Obscure Pet Shop Boys”, the new shows will see PSB perform a setlist featuring only non-single album tracks & B-sides from across their acclaimed career, with many songs being performed live for the first time. The April 8th show will be a benefit concert in aid of @warchilduk.bsky.social.

Priority ticket access commences on 19th November at 10am GMT with tickets on general sale on 21st November at 10am. Fans who pre-order the newly announced book “Pet Sop Boys Volume” via the official store will also receive priority ticket access for the “Obscure” concerts.
