Our new Spring 2026 season has arrived — epic stories, big names, unforgettable theatre 💫

Co-Artistic Directors Daniel Evans and Tamara Harvey bring together a season where the familiar is reimagined, and the new is discovered.
We welcomed Ian McKellen and Judi Dench to The Other Place where they performed in Trevor Nunn’s 1976 production of Macbeth and nearly 50 years later, they were joined by our current cast Sam Heughan and Lia Williams, for an intimate celebration of Shakespeare, craft, and the legacy of the RSC.

The Curriculum and Assessment Review has been published today.

It is clear that the government recognises the important role that creative arts subjects play in a balanced curriculum and we can see progress towards ensuring that arts subjects are an entitlement for every child.

We are so sad to hear of the death of Prunella Scales.
