In these final hours, I must say I’m proud of those who stood against this ban. I have not only seen individual creators take a stand, but major companies too. Movie studios, game studios, ice cream companies, you name it.

One thing I’ll take out of 2024 is finally understanding the major respect for the classics. While the graphics may be rougher, watching things like Sonic in SA2 drop like 30 stories multiple times & still have more level to play, compared to falling like 10 ft & dying in games today, is wild.

First “blue screen of death” in my life experience:

1. Happened while exiting a game
2. Game starts in full screen with music playing
- (These were not my settings)
3. Panic (DID I JUST LOSE IT ALL?!?)
4. Game eventually loads with all data intact
5. Post on social media while heart slows down

Yea. This place is better. Thought I just forgot to hit the follow button to people on the other site, but now its seems it’s actually removing people I follow. If anyone’s still over there, check who you follow. It may not be as many as you actually thought.

I like seeing my favorite people on this site more.

No bots, drama, or other annoyances.

Every time I close this app to go check the other site, I see another person I follow post their Bluesky handle & I open this app right back up.

This cycle will last a while…
