It should also be clear that even if the unsubstantiated claims that the people operating the vessels were smuggling drugs were true, the gov’t has NO lawful right to execute those they suspect of committing crimes.

We must remember that the sweeping allegations made against these boaters are the SAME ONES levied against a host of recently-targeted South American immigrants to drum up xenophobia and public support for mass deportation terror 🛑
