This'll be something Netflix struggles with for a good while and might be the part that eventually has them go under.
That said, I'm curious with this shifting landscape whether it would be a worthwhile investment to simply get (slightly) into the Theatre business and screen Netflix exclusives.

Sometimes a film is created with a specific physical environment in mind. And community often makes a project more popular. Which is why a streaming service will release episodes of a game or television show weekly. It binds people to an experience at a certain time which helps enable discussion.
