The Constitution disagrees. The Emoluments Clause, part of Article I, Section 9, Clause 8, bans office holders from taking ANY gifts from foreign countries. There is no mention of quid pro quo. That is because the Founding Fathers knew that even the *appearance* of corruption promotes corruption.

It's not a bad idea to go to the local Walmart or big box retailer and buy lots of consumables now. From toothpaste to soap, anything you can find storage space for, buy before they have to replenish inventory.
Even if it's made in the USA , they will jack up the price and blame it on tariffs.

Watched the #MotoGP press conference today. I've always like Ai Ogura, but was still pissed when Trackhouse signed him. Really wanted Joe Roberts on the bike....but Ai is cool as hell. Kid has a good vibe. And the Gulf livery dowsn't hurt lol.
