I have a friend who is protesting in L.A. now. I just told him to walk up & ask the National Guardsmen with megaphone turned up full blast "what it feels like to take orders from a fucking felon/rapist" and "how does it feel to betray your own fucking country?" He did. 🤣 God, I wish I was there.

Update: they called this morning. He has been "let go indefinitely." We knew it was likely going to happen but we thought we had a little more time. Are we great now? We don't feel great.

Got an IRS letter threatening to levy my bank account, garnish wages and/or place a lien on my VERY modest 70 yr old home because I still owed $600 for the taxes filed in 2024. 20 yrs in my field & a salary nearly half the median income. I'm so glad my $600 could pay their salaries for this shit.

I paid it btw... And now I get to wait a few more weeks to put new brakes on my car. I really hope he enjoys his new fucking airplane.

It is 100% by design. Keep us uneducated to keep us easily manipulated while staying poor & impoverished to keep us struggling to survive so we will continue to show up to be good cogs in good wheels to make the rich richer while we scrape by on crumbs.
