As an update to this, I did not finish the game jam. I was too stressed on the final day to even finish the game.

The lack of posts and communication is just baffling and waiting so long to make a post telling people what happened is just utterly ridiculous

it frustrates me so much, I think the situation they have been thrown into is unfair and it's unfair to place the blame of having to delist games on them. But they just cannot communicate information well, especially considering that some people really need the money they get from itch-

Anyways, support indie devs and fuck card processors.

There's a very low chance of another site coming around that can host games as well as itch (and steam to some extent) do. It takes a lot of money to host games. It's not as easy to host games as making a person website.

Even if this gets reversed, people seem like they are going to stop using itch after this. So many people are going to be effected for so long after this, even if things return to normal.
