I really don't see how they think that they can ban VPNs without seriously compromising security for many businesses - let alone people. The Online Safety act is a piece of unimplementable shit.

Immense satisfaction from but also in the knowledge, that if it comes to an end...I'll be sad but it doesn't define me and my self-worth.
It's a nice place to be and has significantly improved my happy days.

When I was made redundant last year, I realised that I didn't need a job to be happy and if it had happened just a couple of years later - I wouldn't have bothered thinking about work. But financially, we're just not secure enough - so I am working, for a bit less money - doing a job I gain

I don't think we'd have gone to war over Sudetenland - and yes, going through Poland to attack the USSR. I think that a pragmatic deal would have been done. But at times, I think the 'My Grandfather fought fascism' is overplayed - he fought an expansionist who was a fascist.

Indeed...and isn't social care another difference??
I'm not sure that the tax burden is a massive issue. There might be other systemic problems that discourage investment.

It's devisive for sure but I'm a big fan of 'Giving Ground' and the subsequent album. I prefer it to a lot of the over-produced stuff on Floodland...and it is proof that when he is fuelled by spite, Eldritch can be quite productive.
