I am so incredibly tired of people with absolutely no media literacy and the disinformation they perpetuate. Absolutely let’s fight our real problems and real enemies but can we stop trying to find any excuse to demonize our allies? And yes I’m talking about dog toys.

The fact that @niatruc.bsky.social and I went to a Paul Smith sample sale and managed to accidentally purchase not one, but two items from David Tennant’s wardrobe that David hadn’t even worn yet should be studied.

Before we hate on the Met Gala again, it is a CHARITY fund raiser to keep the Costume Institute open.
In case you don't know, textiles take a lot of work, care, and money to preserve and study for future generations. That is where the money goes-- to textile study and conservation, not celebs.

As the Met Gala approaches, I want to remind people that the Gala is the primary source of funding for the Met’s Costume Institute. The Costume Institute, despite being a major draw for the museum, is not funded from the same big kitty due to misogyny (fashion is for girls).
