I've been growing Fascicularia bicolor subsp. canaliculata epiphytically on a treefern trunk for a few years now.
It hasn't flowered yet, but its barbed leaves do colour red most autumns.

Steps to a beautiful sunken fernery created during lockdown.
It has got me thinking again about creating one in my garden. 🤔

Just me, doing a spot of guerrilla gardening, planting four hundred narcissus and Camassia along the roadside. Another hundred or so to go.
They'll be an unexpected surprise for the neighbours when they bloom in a couple of months!

It has been a long two hour slog, but I've finally finished building the steps to the upper gardens. 😉
Is there too much moss? I don't think there's too much moss.
