Well they did it, they rolled back the NLRB rulings on noncompetes, nondisparagement clauses, and confidentiality agreements. That didn’t take long. I think CA has these protections at the state level but most states do not.

Striking when orgs expect employees’ families to absorb workplace problems while simultaneously being intolerant of employees’ family lives encroaching on work.
Is funding the family (when it actually does) enough for an org to think it can drain it by exporting its tensions?

Basically traps AI crawlers and sends them down an "infinite maze" of static files with no exit links, where they get stuck and thrash around for months. Once trapped, the crawlers can be fed gibberish data, aka Markov babble, which is designed to poison AI models arstechnica.com/tech-policy/...

![[…] in the era where these AI systems are true 'everything machines', people will out-compete one another by being increasingly bold and agentic (pun intended!) in how they use these systems, rather than in developing specific technical skills to interface with the systems.
We should all intuitively understand that none of this will be fair. Curiosity and the mindset of being curious and trying a lot of stuff is neither evenly distributed or generally nurtured. Therefore, I'm coming around to the idea that one of the greatest risks lying ahead of us will be the social disruptions that arrive when the new winners of the AI revolution are made - and the winners will be those people who have exercised a whole bunch of curiosity with the AI systems available to them.
