While some of this may be a strategic move by the Supreme Court, we’re sharing it so you can draw your own conclusions. Even if temporary, the decision still gives Trump exactly what he wants, to withhold food from American citizens. It’s beyond ridiculous.

I had written a rather intense proposal for funding a project at my uni to support our students making nonfiction comics about the research, scholarship, and programming going on there. I was still pretty fired up...

If you happen upon me & ask me what I do, I’ll likely go on about how powerful a means for communication comics are, and when done there’s a high probability you’ll be thinking of ways to integrate comics into your work/business (as was the case with a random parent at soccer tonight!)

Happy 423 years of us! 🎉 📚

The Bodleian Libraries opened for the first time on 8 November 1602...

This means, we're older than the refracting telescope (1608), the publication of Shakespeare's Hamlet (1623) and Sir Isaac Newton's apple (1666)! 😅

Today is Intersex Day of Solidarity and Remembrance.

It's an opportunity to highlight the continued struggles faced by intersex people globally, from unnecessary medical intervention or stigma.

We all deserve to be treated with dignity, and live a life free from discrimination.

How did "ordinary" Germans become complicit in the Nazi regime? Rejecting a simple perpetrator/victim binary, our German pick of the week argues that the social "in-between"—families, neighborhoods, unions—functioned as sites of both collaboration and adaptation.

And WHY are these fake clinics advising against ultrasounds for suspected ectopics? Because a woman sued a Massachusetts CPC after she alleged it failed to diagnose hers and her fallopian tube ruptured. This AP story sucks so hard
www.jezebel.com/woman-sues-a...
You can’t be out here writing “opponents say they offer only limited ultrasounds that can’t diagnose pregnancy issues” when the CPCs themselves admit it! Both sides framing is obscuring facts
Crisis pregnancy centers told to avoid ultrasounds for suspected ectopic pregnancies
A settlement in a Massachusetts lawsuit that accused a crisis pregnancy center of endangering a woman’s life may be prompting changes within the faith-based nonprofits.

These guys get $50k signing bonuses.

Stephen Miller is telling them they have immunity and encouraging them to create chaos.

They get almost no training, many couldn’t pass an open book exam & they’re allowed to hide their faces.

They’re swinging assault rifles around in public.

Maybe we should all apply and then wash out of the academy.
Omg, this detail from CNN about the ICE hiring snafu is wild. This seems like an HR 101 level thing to get right.

They turned a hiring bonus into something much closer to an application bonus.

Seems like a great way to burn a ton of cash. Also? Here’s some waste for sure!
