I have to add that I love the composition where the large elephant is emerging from the right side - it adds energy to the scene and wouldn’t have been as interesting if the whole animal was visible. Never underestimate a clever crop ☺️

Wonderful photo, Christoph 🤩 I visited Cape Town in 1997, but never got the chance to go to Table Mountain (I think the cable car was being renovated). Will never forget those two weeks I spent in South Africa 🥰

I live by the words of Victor Hugo: “Melancholy is the happiness of being sad” 😉

Oh no! Some of us Scandinavians have learned how to master the gloom 😆 That’s why we spend so much time and money redecorating our homes - we spend half the year indoors, lol! I love the melancholy - it’s when I do most of my photography 🖤

My hubby once opened the car door, leaned over and turned off the engine of such a car. The look of the driver was priceless 😂😂 It’s prohibited to leave the engine running in Norway, people are lazy.

I’m a bit late to the party 🙈 Thanks a lot my friend! This area of Oslo has changed a lot since I took this photo.

Oh how I envy you that mist 🖤 Where I live it seems workdays are the misty ones, and I spend endless hours looking out of my office window 🙈😆 Your photography is so beautiful and moody 🤩

Thank you so much, Wolfgang! 🥰 Drove past this tree sooo many times, I eventually managed to bring my camera and do something about it 😆

Very beautiful 🤩 I love that drama, and as a Norwegian it looks familiar even though it’s from the other side of the earth. One of Norway’s finest painters paints sceneries just like this, from our west coast.

Thank you so much 🥰 My photography is much about light and darkness.
