If Republicans really want to help reduce drug use in the United States, they should do more to keep people from feeling hopeless. Encourage community rather than division, and address systemic inequalities that leave people behind physically, mentally, educationally, economically, and socially.

Saw "Wicked 2.0" Friday and it was great. As good as the first, if not better. Slower pacing, which helps the tension of the story. The new songs explain so much. Same great sets, costumes, and orchestrations. Am planning to see it a few more times on the big screen bc there's just SO MUCH to see!

A really important point. You can't "solve"misinformation without understanding the ways beliefs function as identity markers more than attempts to represent reality accurately gone awry.
Misinformation *is* central to democratic problems today, but the solution is *not* to correct such epistemic failures directly. Instead, we must address them at their roots, in social identity.

Ds were right to reopen the govt. Millions of government and adjacent workers couldn't go much longer w/o paychecks. It also saves millions more Americans, the airlines, and the overall economy the multibillion dollar losses that would have occurred if the shutdown had gone through Thxg and Xmas.
