I can acknowledge one’s identity as a woman because that is how they have chosen to live. However, when discussing gender in competitive sports, biological differences do exist. I understand & acknowledge your feelings, but we cannot ignore reality or be compelled to view the issue in a singular way

Basic Trans rights is a hill to die on, Trans sports is not. You can oppose blanket bans at the federal level, while acknowledging the primary function of women’s sports is to allow women to compete equitably against each other, which may mean excluding trans athletes in certain competitions.

They would never ask a Jewish person to respect an anthem written by a nazi that mocked the murder of those seeking freedom. Yet Francis Key was a slaveholder who, in the 3rd stanza of the Star Spangled Banner, mocked the deaths of Black people who sought freedom. And we’re expected to honor that?
Michael Strahan didn’t do anything that should make you mad, unless you’re the type who looks for things to get mad about.
And criticizing him becomes more difficult when taking his family history into account.
