Is this a sequel to QWOP?

Yeah, it wasn't entirely clear in the article, which is why I went to the original interview. The context of the quotes from the article being from his answer to a question specifically about generative AI makes it clearer.

That's not what the article, or his comments, suggest. Here's a translation of part of the actual interview (www.gamespark.jp/article/2025...):

I keep seeing left-leaning folks insisting that if the Dems had never pushed back, SNAP benefits would have been safe, and I just...

Giving in is electoral suicide. The only chance we have in the midterms is for Dems to push back on everything & let every bad thing that gets implemented be something that is done 100% by the GOP, because again, the GOP doesn't need the Dems, it just makes things easier for them and hurts the Dems
November 11, 2025 at 5:44 PM
NONE of this requires the Democrats to cooperate. The GOP can kill the filibuster & do all the things they want to do whenever they want. By giving in, not only do the Dems not keep the bad shit from happening, they end up taking some of the blame (rightly so).
November 11, 2025 at 5:44 PM
And that doesn't even get into the fact that a lot of what is happening in Congress right now is a direct result of the GOP trying to prevent the release of the Epstein files. Which, again, has zero to do with telling Trump "no".
November 11, 2025 at 5:36 PM
None of that had anything to do with him being told "No", ffs.

SNAP getting gutted is part of Project 2025; it was happening no matter what.
Trump fires people he doesn't like, period.

Thinking those wouldn't happen without Dems saying "No" is naive af.
November 11, 2025 at 5:34 PM
I'm not saying that "No" would have worked, but it doesn't magically make him more powerful, AND it doesn't lose the Democrats voters like rolling over and giving up will.

Last week's elections showed us how much people hate what the GOP is doing; Dems need to capitalize on that & keep saying "NO"
