I am not shy to say when I disagree with Sadiq Khan. But I also think it's important to say out loud when other politicians get it right.

This is exactly what the leader of a diverse and vibrant city like London should say. Thank you Sadiq.

To those who have not studied history, or forgot, or don’t believe history repeats, take a look.

If you still don’t get the connection, then you will live the consequences of your actions, or inaction.
I want to take a moment to share an excerpt from the Declaration of Independence's grievances against King George III.

Sound familiar?

Hearing this from quite a few people in Reform UK-controlled councils. From a local reader:

"There are rumours as in other Reform UK controlled councils that a number of those elected stood to ‘make up numbers’ & never thought they would be elected & now don’t feel able to commit the time required"

If Keir Starmer understood this one blog post he could transform the UK
As the Financial Times noted yesterday: Sir Keir Starmer has rejected calls from senior Labour figures to fill a growing fiscal hole with big tax rises, warning: “I don’t think you can tax your way to...

My letter in today's Financial Times.

It is wrong to suggest that social mobility should be the alternative idol to the failed target of growth.

I've never seen this method of visualisation before. It's very good.
Good visual showing the churn of UK voters since last year’s General Election.

It will probably come as no surprise to anyone to hear that Reform UK’s policies add up to an agenda of fiscal recklessness that rivals, and may well exceed, the disastrous 49-day, hair-raising, market-tanking premiership of Liz Truss in 2022

Hahaha.. Just seen a clip of Farage pretending to be Trump and telling council staff if they work on climate change or DEI initiatives, then they need to look for new jobs.
What an utter tosser.
Tough, thankless administrative work awaits his motley crew of inexperienced halfwits.
It’ll be carnage.

Well, it's official. We just received notice that all authors on the Sixth National Climate Assessment have just been released from their roles.

The NCA is a vital, Congressionally mandated resource for our nation as we prepare for the impacts of climate change. This is a huge loss.
