I'd argue that by not caring they are indeed out of touch, in that they don't seem to grasp their dependence on those they deem not their equals. No one creates wealth on their own and destroying the people who are helping them retain that wealth seems rather, um, out of touch. It's all semantics. 🤷‍♀️
