It’s good to have review of Wellington Water in public domain. Funding is important - we will keep increasing it. Delivery is also important, we need to keep improving. And we also need structural change to support those two things.
Review finds Wellington Water not properly reporting spending
The review found maintenance costs also increased by 71 percent over the last three years.

Seymour called to bomb up a ministry and we put up some satirical posters.

In my view there are far bigger issues to focus on, like the fact fair pay agreements will be gone by Christmas, benefit cuts are looming and bringing back no-cause evictions.

Whew Wellington City Council has retained our Standard & Poors AA+/A-1+ credit rating (the highest credit rating of any local authority in Aotearoa). Our next budget will still be tough but this is good news for the capital.

There is no financial crisis and there is no billion $ overspend at WCC. We’re very open about the economic challenges re interest, insurance etc which we are all facing. But we have an AA+ rating and debt headroom.
Of course it will be a tough long term plan. 1/2 (how do you make a thread here?)
