conveniently ignored the fact that many homes are sitting there empty because of big corps buying them all up. we don't need to build more homes. we need to house more people and that starts with putting people over corporations

As a Mexica Native, I'm land back FIRST all the way but I also know we don't want to build resentment or leave any community members unhoused which may be difficult with the way the US sabotages Native people and projects. thoughts?

i know there used to be laws to offer unused federal land to Native tribes first (or it's still the law? not sure cause the US breaks every treaty) anyway, in CA there was/is a law saying unused public land must be used for affordable housing. which would be better to actually start implementing?
