"I look forward to The Tenementals ... producing ever more experimental records, and more importantly, becoming a fixture on Glasgow’s dancefloors and beyond. I, and many others, hope that that is where the revolution might begin." Many thanks to @callumsutherland.bsky.social for the review!

We're saddened to hear of the death of Elspeth King who was instrumental in creating a radical history of Glasgow in many forms. She's in the shot, about 60 seconds in, with phone in hand (next to @lostglasgow.bsky.social's Norry Wilson). Go well, Elspeth. You will not be forgotten.

We popped into the @uofglasgow.bsky.social shop as they'd sold out their supply of our debut album and needed to restock. It's one of many places that you can pick up the album but you can also order it direct from our website. Now is the time to get your festive orders in! tenementals.com/merch

RIP Diane Keaton. Here she is smoking fags and looking cool in 'Reds', Hollywood's Russian Revolution meets Love Story epic drama. It was directed by Beatty and scripted by the British Marxist, Trevor Griffiths. It's open to all sorts of critiques, but it's worth a watch in her honour, for sure.

Tickets to see Kreftwerk at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall sold out rapid this morning- countless punters queued for ages and left empty-handed. Fast forward a few hours and corporate touts/scumbags Viagogo are selling them for over twice the face value. What are you doing about it, Glasgow Life?

High Noon, Thursday 9 October, David and Simon will be live on Radio Buena Vida for a one-hour special with Morag Ramsay to discuss our songs, history and how they fit together. In discussing our influences, we say that we ‘surf our sonic unconscious’. What’s all that about? Tune in and find out!

What a wonderful day at St Andrew's University Music Department yesterday exploring 'People Make Places' in discussion and performance. We ended the day with a few people on the floor to 'Rats'. Thanks to everyone involved!

Congratulations to the Village Hotel Strikers who announced on the picket line yesterday that they've secured a major victory on pay and conditions. This is the first British hotel strike in 46 years and it's a historic and significant win for the young workers. They are an inspiration to all of us!

Here's looking at you, kid. We put together a fifty-minute montage of film clips for Elder Park Festival. We'd be interested to hear the thoughts of those who were there. So, if you fall into that category, add a comment below, or send us a message. Thanks! Photo: @sturmyarcher3.bsky.social
